Welwyn Garden City Band is currently a 3rd section brass band and has been in existence since 1934.

The band rehearses on Sunday evenings from 7pm until 9pm.

Welwyn Garden City Band – March 2024

Winning 3rd Prize at the London & Southern Counties 2024 Regional Qualifying Contest in Stevenage took the Band to the top of the Third Section table ensuring promotion to the Second Section from 2025 and an invitation to the National Finals in Cheltenham this coming September

The Band won 1st Prize in the Third Section at the Oxford & District Brass Band Association Winter Contest in February 2024
